We’re proud to share that the Garver-designed SH-20 Keetonville Hill Safety Realignment project in Northeast Oklahoma has been selected for an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) National Recognition Award in the Engineering Excellence Awards competition! The project focused on a four-mile section of the State Highway-20 (SH-20) corridor beginning just east of US-169. This section of highway had a higher-than-average collision rate, unreliable travel time caused by increasing traffic, and suffered from frequent rock and hill slides due to its location near Keetonville Hill. Garver provided services for the full design life of the project, which resulted in increased traffic capacity, safer conditions, and reduced maintenance costs.
