To facilitate FM Global's research, science, and technology expansion in Norwood, MA, our team first successfully and safely demolished an existing 140,000 square-foot, two-story, two-building structure—removing 27,500 total tons from the site. In its place, an all-new #ShawmutBuilt four-story, 320,000 square-foot complex will offer a combination of research laboratories and corporate offices, along with a parking garage and outdoor spaces, to elevate the campus to new heights of innovation. Our team in Rhode Island joined the Pawtucket School Department, students, teachers, and community to celebrate the steel topping off milestone on our latest K-12 project in state at the Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School. The innovative new #ShawmutBuilt building will feature thirty classrooms, dedicated spaces for arts, music, special education, and commons for collaborative learning—all equipped with state-of-the-art technology and abundant natural light.
