Our own Daniel Ellis and Barry Williams recently presented to the Missouri University of Science and Technology senior design capstone class about Crafton Tull's work renovating the ballfields at Northwest Park in Rogers. These engineering students created their own solutions to this real-world project throughout the spring semester and then learned firsthand from Daniel and Barry how the solutions they developed compared to the final, built project. Congrats to these hardworking future engineers! Missouri S&T Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering

Some of our Rogers office employee-owners volunteered at Samaritan Farm as part of a belated Earth Day and gardening month event. Volunteers helped pull weeds, clear out garden beds, and plant new vegetables. We're glad to have played a role in helping out an organization whose mission is to provide nutrition to food-insecure citizens in the NWA area! Samaritan Community Center

Our Hot Springs surveyors volunteered their Saturday morning to teach the Survey Merit Badge class at the Boy Scouts Merit Badge University held at UA Little Rock. The scouts were guided through some survey basics, and even put their new skills to the test by operating survey equipment. Thank you to our surveyors for investing your time for the Boy Scouts of America!

Check out our Faces of FAY feature! We're spotlighting Jenny Burbidge, the owner and principal landscape architect of Prism Design Studio LLC in Huntsville, Arkansas. She's a 2010 graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. During this conversation, she discussed how she's learned to treat every obstacle as a learning experience and as an opportunity to build relationships. “My colorful work experience has given me a unique perspective and cultivated an ability to collaborate with other disciplines at a high level,” Burbidge said. “Having been a part of multi-disciplinary teams for many years, I was shown the ‘big picture’ early in my career. And with that, find how landscape architects can create value on the design team. ... It’s a small world in the design industry, and I’m thankful for the many friendships I have developed over the years. It’s a tight-knit group, and I am appreciative of the collective optimism and support we foster for one another.” 🏞 Read the full Q&A here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/grQJZq3C

Our employee-owners had a great time at our annual company-wide meeting and social hour! This year at Intersection, all locations across Arkansas and Oklahoma got together at The Bakery District in Fort Smith to enjoy live music, company project updates, and to celebrate each other with new traditions. Guest speaker and legendary basketball star, Sidney Moncrief, gave our employees insight on the event theme “Own Your Future.” We look forward to continued growth and a bright future for our company and our communities!

Amenities and plantings combine to create public spaces designed to build a sense of community. This patio space with gazebos, grills and colorful seating, and the pool area at the Pure Lowell multi-family development is destined to bring neighbors together. We’re celebrating World Landscape Architecture Month with @NationalASLA and our landscape architects.

The City of Mulberry hired our team for various sidewalk enhancement projects to increase connectivity and walkability in their community. Crafton Tull designed safe, ADA-compliant pedestrian access between schools and municipal amenities such as the senior center, city park, and downtown areas. The project was funded through an ARDOT TAP grant and connected a previous “Safe Routes to School” project. This infrastructure will be heavily utilized throughout the school year and warmer months as more citizens take spring walks for school, exercise, recreation, and business!
