As our society’s need to find sustainable transportation solutions grows, so does the need for experts to help implement them. In the spring of 2019, historic flooding destroyed the U.S. Highway 281 bridge spanning the Niobrara River in north-central Nebraska. Just nineteen months later, Nebraska’s governor applauded the “feat of engineering” as a new bridge was officially opened.
